Feature Overview

  • Platform, Comfort & Controls

    VIEW PHOTOS

Operating a Boomer 1020 Sub-Compact Tractor is as simple and comfortable as can be.

You have plenty of legroom on the open Boomer Tractor platform. Wide thresholds make it easy to step aboard from either side, and once you're in the seat, you'll feel right at home.

    • Dashboard instrumentation is easy to read and includes fuel gauge, temperature gauge, tachometer, PTO "ON" indicator, hourmeter, cold starting aid indicator and warning lights for engine oil pressure and battery charge.
    • Color-coded controls embossed with their functions are placed right at your fingertips to make operation virtually effortless. There's no guesswork in understanding the function of the control levers.
    • High-backed contoured seat with retractable seatbelt adjusts for weight and moves on an inclined/declined track to put you in the perfect position—regardless of your build.
    • A standard auxiliary power outlet provides a convenient power source for cell phone, cooler or anything requiring twelve-volt power that you want to bring with you. And of course, there's a cupholder.
    • A toolbox comes standard and is great for carrying small tools, gloves or implement pins.
  • Visibility

    VIEW PHOTOS

The Boomer 1020 Sub-Compact Tractor's innovative styling makes you more productive and safe. The sloped Boomer Tractor hood design and a matching curved-boom loader give you a clear view of what you're lifting so you can work with confidence.

  • Serviceability

    VIEW PHOTOS

The Boomer 1020 Sub-Compact Tractor's combination of service conveniences is outstanding.

There's no need to raise the hood or remove a front-end loader to add fuel or check the engine oil. And all routine service points are located on the right side of the engine. It all combines to make maintenance approachable and simple. You'll service your tractor more often as a result, which will extend its life.

    • The tractor hood lifts on a gas strut to provide complete engine access.
    • Radiator access and maintenance is as simple as raising the hood. A screen that's easy to remove makes maintenance a breeze.
    • A service schedule is posted under the hood to help you remember routine maintenance.
    • The battery is located in front of the radiator for easy access.
    • Single-element air filter protects the engine in dusty conditions.
    • Check the transmission, rear axle, and hydraulic system fluid levels using a dipstick located at the rear of the tractor.
    • The large 7.1-gallon fuel tank allows for approximately a full day's worth of operation between fill-ups.
    • Single-element fuel filter protects the engine's fuel injection system from things like rust, dirt and water.
    • A full-flow, spin-on oil filter provides protection to the engine lubricating system.
  • 3-Point Hitch

    VIEW PHOTOS

The 3-Point Hitch is the standard system for attaching tractor implements. The Boomer 1020 Tractor offers a Category I 3-Point Hitch that can lift 700 lbs (at 24" behind link ends). It also offers a drop rate control knob that adjusts the speed at which you lower your implement so you can work at your own pace.

  • 2-Range, 2-Pedal Hydrostatic Transmission

    VIEW PHOTOS

It's remarkably easy to operate your Boomer 1020 Sub-Compact Tractor. Separate forward and reverse foot pedals propel the tractor and allow you to change direction without clutching.

The standard high-performance, 2-range hydrostatic transmission makes mowing and loader work a breeze. You get infinite speed selection, so finding the exact speed for each job is easy.

The range lever is located on the left-hand fender control pod. Use low range when the job calls for lots of power or for slow operations like tilling, blowing snow, heavy mowing or loader work. High range allows you to work at higher travel speeds during light mowing or when moving from job to job.

  • Lighting

    VIEW PHOTOS

Work safely and productively during late evening or early morning. This lighting package shines to the front and front corners of the tractor with 4 lights instead of two. 4 powerful halogen headlights brighten your path, and their high-mount location ensures superior lighting even when using front mounted tractor attachments.

  • Mower Deck Height Control

    VIEW PHOTOS

The handy mower deck height control is located on the left fender control console, within easy reach. Just move the lever to raise or lower the mower deck from 1" to 4".

  • Independent PTO System

    VIEW PHOTOS

Power Take-Offs (PTOs) are rotating drive shafts, on the rear and middle of your tractor. Driven by the engine, they provide power to different kinds of implements.

With an independent PTO system, the PTO will continue to run, if engaged, regardless of clutching, changing gears or changing direction of the tractor. This convenient feature makes working with implements easy and efficient especially when working in and around obstacles or when a lot of direction changes are needed.

  • Foldable ROPS

    VIEW PHOTOS

The Roll Over Protection System (ROPS) is a roll bar mounted on the tractor that protects the operator if the machine tips over. All Boomer Tractors have a ROPS that folds down when it isn't needed, allowing you to take the tractor into low clearance areas, like under trees or lower entryways.

  • Cruise Control (Optional)

    VIEW PHOTOS

When you need to work at a constant speed, for instance, when mowing large areas or driving the tractor to another worksite, the cruise control allows you to maintain a set speed for extended periods without keeping your foot on the pedal. It disengages automatically when you step on the brakes, just like a car.

  • Hydrostatic Power Steering

    VIEW PHOTOS

Standard on all Boomer Tractors, Hydrostatic Power Steering provides precise, consistent response with very little effort.

  • Heavy Duty Rear Axle

    VIEW PHOTOS

The Boomer 1020 Sub-Compact Tractor isn't made with steel or aluminum in the rear axle. Our induction-hardened rear axles are supported by strong cast iron housings for maximum durability and long life.

  • Differential Lock

The Differential Lock foot pedal provides you with extra traction when you need it. If your rear wheels begin to lose traction, simply push down on the heel pedal and both wheels lock together to pull through slippery conditions.

  • Modern Styling & Design

The sloped Boomer Tractor hood and the matching curved-boom loadernot only look great, but they also provide outstanding visibility. High-impact polymer panels feature a premium paint finish that resists chipping and fading.
