  • Constant Variable Transmission (CVT)

    CVT allows the Boomer 8N to be driven like a car. Controlled by a single pedal, it changes speed without having to shift gears or clutch, and changes the tractor's direction with a shuttle lever. Push on the pedal and various sensors detect torque and load characteristics, which in turn adjust the transmission's "gear" ratio and engine rpm. Features a selection of different operating modes to customize the performance of the tractor's transmission to better match the requirements of a particular task.

    The Boomer 8N tractor is available with features that make operation comfortable and easy. The logical control placement and clean, open operator platform help you get each job done more quickly and efficiently, and with less fatigue. And it adjusts to suit operators of all sizes.

    • The large, uncluttered platform offers plenty of legroom, even with a hydraulic joystick for the front-end loader so climbing on to the tractor is not an awkward or difficult exercise.
    • Intuitive controls are easy to identify and understand. Levers and switches are always right where you expect them to be—no stretching, no reaching, no hassles—so you can be confident of your every move.
    • Contoured fenders to your right and left hold the controls for transmission, PTO and 3-point hitch. They come naturally to your hand in a relaxed position.
    • A high-backed, contoured seat with colorful retro styling slides on an inclined/declined track to put you in the perfect position to achieve the best visibility and reach the tractor controls easily. It also features a spring suspension for comfort.
    • Hydrostatic power steering on all Boomer models will minimize the effort it takes to maneuver the tractor.
    • The safety-start system includes an operator presence switch under the seat. If you leave the seat, under certain circumstances, the tractor automatically shuts itself off.

    The Boomer 8N is very easy to service.

    Because it's easier to maintain, you won’t put off routine tractor maintenance tasks—and as a result, you’ll extend the life of your tractor.

    • Fuel up or check the oil without lifting the tractor hood.
    • Boomer fuel capacity is among the largest you'll find on the market so you can operate for longer periods without filling up.
    • Fuel tanks are conveniently located behind the operator seat and have wide fill necks for easy refueling.
    • The Boomer Tractor hood flips up on a gas strut to provide complete access to the engine, battery, radiator and filters—all without tools, without clumsy prop rods and without removing the front grill as is required on some competitive models.
    • A service schedule is posted under the hood to help you remember routine maintenance.
    • Radiator access and maintenance is as simple as raising the tractor hood.
    • Check the transmission, rear axle, and hydraulic system fluid levels using a dipstick located at the rear of the tractor.
    • The battery is located in front of the radiator for easy access.
    • Dual-element air filter protects the engine in dusty conditions.
    • Single-element fuel filter protects the engine's fuel injection system from things like rust, dirt and water.
    • A full-flow, spin-on oil filter provides protection to the engine lubricating system.

  • Deluxe 3-Point Hitch

    The 3-Point Hitch is the standard system for attaching tractor implements. However, the Boomer 8N improves on the standard with deluxe features that make switching implements easy.

    You won't have to waste time backing your tractor into exactly the right position for hookup. The flexible link ends, telescoping stabilizers, swinging drawbar and crank-style leveling adjustment allow just one person to fine-tune the connection easily. An adjustable stop on the control lever allows you to return the hitch to a preset position for consistent, level plowing or grading. And Boomer 8N lift capacity of 2,800 lbs. (at 24” behind link ends) allows you to choose larger, more efficient implements.

  • Lighting

    Two powerful halogen headlights on the front of the Boomer 8N ensure superior lighting even when using the front-end loader.

  • Independent PTO System

    Power Take-Offs (PTOs) are rotating drive shafts, on the rear and middle of your Boomer Tractor. Driven by the engine, they provide power to different kinds of implements.

    With an independent PTO system, the PTO will continue to run, if engaged, regardless of clutching, changing gears or changing direction of the tractor. This convenient feature makes working with implements easy and efficient especially when working in and around obstacles or when a lot of direction changes are needed.

  • Foldable ROPS

    The Roll Over Protection System (ROPS) is a roll bar mounted on the tractor that protects the operator if the machine tips over. All Boomer Tractors have a ROPS that folds down when it isn’t needed, allowing you to take the tractor into low clearance areas, like under trees or lower entryways.

  • Cruise Control

    When mowing large areas, the 8N tractor's cruise control allows you to maintain a set speed for extended periods without keeping your foot on the pedal. It disengages automatically when you step on both brakes.

  • Hydrostatic Power Steering

    Standard on all Boomer Tractors, Hydrostatic Power Steering provides precise, consistent response with very little effort.

  • Heavy Duty Rear Axle

    Induction hardened rear axles supported by heavy-duty cast iron housings are designed for maximum dependability with heavy implements and demanding torque loads. Supports up to 2,800 lbs. of lift capacity.

  • High Capacity Hydraulic Flow

    The Boomer 8N's high-capacity, live hydraulics provide power to the 3-Point Hitch and optional remote valves, giving you fast implement response. Separate pumps for implements and steering provide excellent performance in high demand situations.

    • A dedicated gear pump supplies generous hydraulic flow to power a loader, backhoe or other hydraulically-operated equipment.
    • A separate steering pump supplies power to the Hydrostatic power steering system.

  • Differential Lock

    The Differential Lock foot pedal provides you with extra traction when you need it. If your rear wheels begin to lose traction, simply push down on the heel pedal and both wheels lock together to pull through slippery conditions.
